White Paper
I get it. You’re passionate about what you do. Maybe you’re a Software Developer, or a Deputy Minister, or a Gallery Curator. Whatever your vocation of choice, I know you’re busy. And maybe writing’s not your thing, but you’ve been tasked with writing a paper, an article, or creative piece specific to your industry.
I can ghostwrite, co-write, or edit anything in need of words - and I’m a chameleon when it comes to shifting my focus from one industry to the next.
This is a little snippet of a whitepaper I wrote about technology advancements in financial services. It was ghost-written on behalf of a prominent Melbourne based Financial Services firm, whose name must remain under lock and key. Whilst I can’t show you the whole thing, you can get a little taste of it here.
“When you think about technology, it would be fair to say the financial services industry doesn’t immediately come to mind. Sure, stocks are now traded in milliseconds and erratic world events can have immediate impact on your virtual holdings, but for the humble Financial Adviser, bruised and battered from a steady stream of naysayers, keeping up with the Joneses is not a strong point.”
“And perhaps, as you sit in the safety of your financial services bubble, you may naively believe such industry heavyweights are not a direct competitor to you. Our consumers are different, you may say. Our product incomparable, you might proclaim. Client experience is not interchangeable, you could holler. Well holler all you want, but the evidence is clear; comparisons can and will be made, as the consumer moves from one transaction to the next. With technology burgeoning, people assume their palpable expectations will be met from one company to the next. The future financial services client is no different; it’s recognising this changing expectation, and taking proactive steps as a business to counteract it, wherein lies the challenge.”
